Ed Bernstein has been providing Nevada with legal services since 1976 when he took a job as a public defender and later went on to open his own successful practice: Edward Bernstein & Associates. Since that time his law firm has gone above and beyond providing for the clients who walk through their doors. They have also donated substantially to charities who provide support for children the terminally ill and animals.
Just a few of the organizations for which Edward Bernstein and Associates have given donations are: The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth Nevada SPCA Positively Kids Olive Crest The Shade Tree Susan G. Komen for the Cure and this year The American Cancer Society.
Beyond financial support they also donate backpacks for needy children starting school and necessity kits for Olive Crest. Olive Crest is an organization that provides for the physical and emotional needs of neglected or abused children and at-risk families.
During Christmas holidays in the past the law firm has raised money to purchase food for needy families to eat for Christmas dinner. The employees of Edward Bernstein and Associates even delivered the food to each family themselves. Along with food Bernstein’s employees delivered a Christmas tree with all the trimmings so that the families could enjoy decorating together as well as gifts for everyone. One year they even included a DVD player with Christmas movies for families.
The firm also hosts an annual Bake Sale and give the proceeds to Susan G. Komen. The Bake Sale began in 2007 and continues to be a tradition of Edward Bernstein and Associates. All the employees get involved in the Bake Sale by bringing homemade snacks and goodies. There is a lunch available for a donation fee and various donated raffle prizes for those who purchase tickets. They have been able to raise over $25000 this way and Edward Bernstein generously matched that donation for the charity.
