Turkish PM to Visit Iraq Thursday


(MENAFN- QNA) Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu is set to pay a two-day visit to Iraq on Thursday, a week after the Iraqi Foreign Minister Nouri al-Maliki's held talks in Ankara as part of efforts to mend ruined ties between the two capitals.

Sources at the presidency of the Turkish Prime Minister said that Davutoglu is expected during the visit to discuss with Iraqi officials several issues of common interest, including energy issues, bilateral relations, the latest developments in the region in general and Iraq in particular.

Topics related to the fight against terrorism and ISIS organization will also be discussed during the visit.
