UAE's Rashideen to build factory in Morocco


(MENAFN) UAE's Al Rashideen trading company announced it is planning to build a cigarettes factory in Morocco, in a partnership with local investors to take advantage of high domestic consumption, Emirates 24/7 reported.

The Dubai-based company said that it has set up a joint venture with Moroccan investors under the name "the UAE-Moroccan manufacturing and distribution company, which has already obtained the necessary permissions from the Moroccan industry ministry to set up the factory in the northern Moroccan port of Tangier.

Under the approved license, the joint venture will be able to build the factory, which will be built on an area 60.000 square meters near the port in Tangiers, as well as set up storage units in more than 20 Moroccan cities and nearly 38.000 sale points for its products.
