Keiretsu Forum Pittsburgh More Than An Angel Group For Attendees

PITTSBURGH Pa. – November 18 2014 – Keiretsu Forum Mid-Atlantic (K4-MA) part of the global Keiretsu Forum (K4) angel network with chapters in Pittsburgh Philadelphia Washington DC and New York will hold its monthly Pittsburgh meeting on Friday November 21 at the law office of Schnader Harrison (120 Fifth Avenue) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Keiretsu Forum Pittsburgh is known for its superlative camaraderie and “knowledge sharing” dynamic between members and meetings at the Pittsburgh chapter meetings give members and presenters the opportunity to learn from individuals who have been extremely successful in the business world. 

Founded in 2000 by Randy Williams in the San Francisco Bay area Keiretsu Forum has invested more than $490 million of capital into technology consumer products Internet healthcare life sciences and real estate companies. 

Malcolm Handelsman Chapter President of Keiretsu Forum Pittsburgh has a long history in the entrepreneurial community having owned a small chain of retail children's stores in the Pittsburgh area for more than 20 years. Currently he is the managing director of Do It Right LLC which helps early-stage companies develop and grow their businesses. “I am proud to be president of the Pittsburgh chapter of Keiretsu Forum which is the largest angel group in the United States because I am regularly exposed to many great opportunities both on a professional and personal level. Three to four of the screened companies are then invited to present at subsequent monthly Forum meetings. Entrepreneurs invited to move forward to the Forum meetings must participate in mandatory professional coaching sessions to optimize the delivery of their presentations and also agree to participate in the road show to all four cities in the region with exposure to approximately 100 investors.
