S. Korea's Iranian crude imports dip in 10M


(MENAFN) South Korea's imports of Iranian crude in the January-October period were below the 2013 average on international sanctions, while it imported nearly 120,000 tons from the US, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

Customs data from the world's fifth-largest crude importer showed that South Korea bought 283,287 tons of crude oil from Tehran last month, or 66,984 barrels per day, compared with 420,402 tons the year ago.

Overall, South Korea imported 9.98 million tons of crude last month, or 2.36 million barrels per day. The total was down 6 percent from the 10.7m tons in October last year, the customs data showed.
