(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Qatar and Yemen ended their second match goalless on Sunday in Group A in the 22nd Arabian Gulf Football Cup at King Fahad International Stadium in Riyadh.
The match was tense and exciting, however Qatar was the favorite in the first half but the Yemeni defense with its goalkeeper were resolve.
Performance of the Yemeni team was also excellent and in many ways had great chances, while the Qatari team was strong in attacks but also without a positive end to their chances.
In the second half, the Qatari team took full control and increased their attacks, especially in the last 10 minutes of the match, but was not able to capitalize on any chance.
In their opening match, the Yemeni team also made a draw against Bahrain, while the Saudi and Qatari teams both ended 1-1.
