Bahrain's Talabat's sales grow 125 percent


Talabat.com, the leading online food delivery service provider across the GCC region, announced it has plans to expand its network further, with a main focus on Bahrain, by increasing the number of its users as well as its partner restaurants, Gulf Daily News reported

These plans comes after the firm, which has been playing a great role in empowering small and medium business in the food industry by allowing them to reach a wider market, achieved a growth in its restaurant sales by 125 percent growth through its portals and applications for partner restaurants in 2014.

The firm also posted a growth by 140 percent in orders, as well as 128 percent growth in new registrations, and the company said that they are planning to take advantage of the growth that is happening in the online commerce in the MENA region, which is expected to grow to USD15 billion by 2015
