(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As many as 60 Omanis will be attending the Entrepreneurs Boot Camp at Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM) on Sunday.
Organised by the National Business Centre (NBC) the camp will be held under the patronage of H E Eng Ahmed bin Hassan al Dheeb Undersecretary in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry stated a press release.
The event which comes in line with the Global Entrepreneurship Week will continue till November 20.
It is being organised in cooperation with Oasis 500 which is recognised globally for conducting specialised boot camps for young entrepreneurs the press release said.
Malak al Shaibani director general NBC said that the boot camp aspires to help entrepreneurs get acquainted with marketing. The boot camp will also touch on branding innovation and creative thinking in addition to different case studies.
Ali bin Saleh al Hashar CEO of Jusoor was quoted in the release as saying 'Through our participation we aim at boosting ties between the private and public sectors in youth-related subjects. We hope that the boot camp will come out with groundbreaking ideas from the participating entrepreneurs and these ideas will be implemented in reality.'
Abdullah al Farsi of Orpic said 'The company makes continuous efforts to support SMEs in the sultanate. We are confident that talented Omani men and women will be able to compete internationally in the field of entrepreneurship.'
Meanwhile Eng Abdul Wahid al Farsi acting chief communications officer at Omran was quoted as saying 'Omran's support aims at fostering a culture of entrepreneurship by offering an opportunity for the company's employees to participate by providing guidance to the entrepreneurs especially those who have an interest in establishing tourism projects.'
