Elsewhere, Al Sayegh extended his thanks to Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, for his worldwide campaign to promote the UAE's heritage and history.
"The Shaikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival has impressed the world and put the name of the UAE in everybody's lip," he said.
"It's a successful campaign that was initiated by late Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan to eventually put the UAE and Abu Dhabi on the map of the global Arabian racing," he added. Regarding the decision of Shaikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum to retire Mukhadraam to stud, Al Sayeg said they have lost recently one of the most successful stallions, Jazil, the Belmont Stakes champion and Mukhadraam will be standing in UK as a replacement. "It has been decided to fix the mating fees at a promotional rate of £60.000 at this stage and the same would be revised later," he said.
