China's economy to maintain strong, balanced growth

(MENAFN) State media reported that the Chinese President said his country's economy will maintain a strong, sustainable and balanced growth, Arab News reported.

The President said China has plans to provide more demand and investment opportunities for the global economy as it undergoes structural reforms that foster growth opportunities.

In the third-quarter period, the world's second-largest economy grew at its slowest pace since the 2008 global crisis, sparking concerns that the economy is fluctuating.

"China's economy has entered a new normal, there is plenty of growth momentum and development prospects are bright," Chinese President said in a statement.
