Kuwaiti skeet shooters clinch 10 medals in Doha


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwaiti skeet shooting team swept the 4th day of competition at the Arab Shooting Championship here with the clinching of 10 medals today.

In men's single skeet shooting competition, Kuwaiti marksman Zaid Al-Mutairi got the gold medal while his countryman Abdullah Al-Treqi received the bronze, said chief of the Kuwaiti shooters team Obeid Al-Osaimi, in a statement to KUNA.

In the men's team skeet shooting event, the Kuwaiti team grabbed the gold medal, said Al-Osaimi, adding that in the junior 10 meter pistol shooting competition, the Kuwaiti shooter Mohammad Adel clinched the gold medal while his compatriot Fahad Al-Fadhli got the silver.

In the women's team 10 meter pistol shooting competition, the Kuwaiti team won the silver medal.

Up until yesterday, the Kuwaiti team of male and female shooters garnered 13 medals, of which 3 were gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze.

The Arab shooting championship continues until Nov.
