Info. Min lauds Saudi generosity to Kuwaiti delegation at 22nd Gulf Cup


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Minister of Information and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah expressed utmost gratitude to Saudi generosity and well-reception of the Kuwaiti delegation, including the national football team, while attending the opening ceremony of the 22nd Arabian Gulf Cup tournament, which kicked off last Thursday in Riyadh.

Sheikh Salman also expressed, in a press statement following his return home earlier tonight, his appreciation to the hospitality of the General President of Youth Welfare and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee Prince Abdullah Bin Musaad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and Riyadh Governor Prince Turki Bin Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to the Kuwaiti delegation, wishing the Kingdom the best of luck in organizing the tourney's competitions.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Salman praised the Kuwaiti National Team's victory over its Iraqi rival yesterday, lauding efforts exerted by the Public Authority for Youth and Sport and Kuwait Football Association in providing the elements of success that contributed in the win.
