Qatar- Assistant FM Meets Arab Human Rights Committee Chairman

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha November 05 (QNA) - HE Assistant Foreign Minister for International Cooperation Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani on Wednesday met chairman of the Arab Human Rights Committee Hadi Al-Yami and the delegation accompanying him.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the international conference on security and human rights challenges in the Arab region currently organized by Qatar's National Human Rights Committee.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between Qatar and the Arab Human Rights Committee as well as means of boosting and developing aspects of mutual cooperation.

During the meeting Al-Yami expressed his gratitude to Qatar for backing the efforts of the Committee and activating its role noting that Qatar has always been at the forefront of supporting the Committee and the Arab Charter on Human Rights. (QNA)
