Qatar- HH Sheikha Moza Attends First Session of WISE

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha November 04 (QNA) - HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education Science and Community Development attended Tuesday the first session of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) which focused on the importance of innovation and creativity in education.

Speakers for several nationalities touched on learning thinking that leads to creativity motivating young people and schools to search for solutions and address obstacles that hinders innovative thinking and the need for teacher training that copes with modern and innovative standards in light of the ongoing changes in today's world.

They highlighted knowledge and innovation as two significant elements of motivating children and giving them the space to implement what they learned in classrooms in a modern and innovative fashion.

The speakers noted that WISE is a vital platform for tackling educational issues and encouraging countries governments and educational systems to deeply think of appropriate ways of educational innovation.

Meanwhile HH Sheikha Moza toured the different departments and pavilions of WISE Majlis which accompanies the summit and was briefed on innovative projects featured in it. (QNA)
