Qatari Inventor Wins Stars of Science Competition


(MENAFN- QNA) Qatari inventor Mohammed Al Housani won Saturday first place in the finale of season 6 of Stars of Science, which airs on MBC 4.

Al Hosani won 49.6% of the votes to win the first prize, which is $300,000. His proposed invention was an efficient solar energy system. Sultan Al Subhi came in second place with 23.4%. His invention was a wudu area robot cleaner. The prize for second place winners is $150,00. Lebanese Rania Bou Joudeh came third with 19.4% of the votes. Her invention was an automatic Zucchini corer. She won $100,000 Al Hosani said that he was delighted with coming first on the show. He added that he was honored to represent Qatar during the course of the 6th season. He expressed his hope that his win would inspire more inventors to come forward with their ideas.
