(MENAFN- Arab Times) ABU DHABI Nov 2 (KUNA): Kuwaiti athletes Talal Al-Ansari and Mohammad Al-Majed have snatched two gold medals in Al-Ain Jiu Jitsu Open Championship. In statements to KUNA Sunday Member of the Kuwait Olympic Commi-ttee's martial arts subcommittee Fawaz Al-Sabaj expressed admiration of the outstanding performance and achievement of Kuwaiti athletes in the championship which concluded Saturday.
He pointed out that Al-Ansari has won the gold medal in the 73 kgs category and Al-Majed in another category after making great results in their showdowns. He noted that the national athletes have managed to make such an achievement despite the fact that Jiu Jitsu is a new sport in Kuwait.
