Three Civilians Injured in East Lebanon


(MENAFN- QNA) Three civilians were injured on Saturday during clashes between Army members and gunmen at Dar El-Wasiaa village in Baalbek region in east Lebanon, Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.

NNA field reporter stated that security forces have cordoned off early on Saturday Dar El-Wasiaa village in west Baalbeck during which clashes between members of the Lebanese Army and militants took place leading to the injury of Sobhi Fakhri, his wife Nadima and their son Romeo.

The reporter said that the gunmen opened fire on Sobhi along with his wife and son as they were fleeing the village towards Btedii, adding that the wounded persons were transferred to Dar Al-Amal University hospital, noting that Sobhi and his wife's conditions are critical while as that of their son is stable.
