(MENAFN) According to the Chinese Finance Ministry, the country's fiscal revenue increased by 9.4 percent in October, up from 6.3 percent increase posted in September, Xinhua reported.
October's revenue stood at USD216.2 billion, the ministry said in a statement, while central government revenue jumped 11.3 percent on year, accelerating from an expansion of 5.9 percent a month ago.
Meanwhile, local government revenue rose 7.6 percent from the same period last year, slightly faster than September but slower compared with the same period last year.
The surge was boosted by a rise in revenue collected from financial institutions and higher corporate income tax revenue, the ministry data showed.
