Second Lebanese Patrol Attacked by Militants in Arsali


(MENAFN- QNA) The Lebanese Army announced that a second patrol came under fire from gunmen on the outskirts of the eastern Lebanese town of Arsal on the borders with Syria.

A statement issued by the Lebanese Army said that an explosive device, planted on the side of the road, ripped through a military vehicle, injuring an officer and two soldiers.

The statement added that army units deployed in the region have taken the appropriate field measures while military police started investigation into the incident.
