UAE- Two Asians killed in Fujairah car crash
Two Asian men died while another sustained serious injuries after the car they were travelling in crashed into a lamppost in Dibba Fujairah on Tuesday. Police said the accident happened on Al Rada Street in the direction of Dolphin roundabout after the driver dozed off.
The car veered off the road before crashing into the lamppost. “The car was a heap of twisted metal after the impact. Its driver A.N. 31 received serious injuries while L.S. 28 and B.M. 27 died instantly” a senior Civil Defence official said.
The driver is recuperating in a critical state in the ICU of Dibba Fujairah Hospital.
The Fujairah Police called on motorists to exercise extra caution while driving at night and pull over to the side of the road if they feel sleepy or fatigued. — salahkhaleejtimes.com
