(MENAFN- QNA) Flavien Moreau, the first French jihadist to be tried in France after returning from Syria, received a seven-year sentence on Thursday.
The 28-year-old was not present in the courtroom as his sentence was read.
Moreau travelled to Syria in 2012, before French authorities finally caught up with him in January 2013.
