Egypt's SODIC net profit up 37 percent in 9M


(MENAFN) SODIC, Egypt's third-largest property group said that it has registered an increase by 37.4 percent in its net profit to reach USD15.34 million during the January-September period of this year due to strong sales, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

SODIC, also known as Sixth of October Development and Investment Co, also said that its net contracted sales rose by 34 percent compared to the same period last year.

The company, which last month announced it had completed a capital increase of USD139.43 million to help it finance new projects, said that it has raised its issued capital to reach USD188.23 million from USD50.57 million.
