API launches Kuwait National Human Development Report of 2013


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) At the conclusion of the Kuwait-hosted Human Development Forum 2014, the Arab Planning Institute (API) launched Tuesday Kuwait National Human Development Report of 2013.

Speaking on the final day of the forum, API Chairman Bader Othman Mallallah said that this year's edition of the report is themed social cohesion as a base for development and pillar of national unity.

He added that report is divided into three main sections each comprises three chapters that tackles the different aspects of social cohesion and its impact on the materialization of state development goals.

Mallallah stated the report unveiled that Kuwait has made great strides in the past 13 years in the development of human resource.

The Human Development Forum 2014 was organized by the Supreme Council for Planning and Development in cooperation with the Arab Planning Institute and the World Bank, under the auspices of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The two-day forum focused on the Kuwait's efforts to build effective human resources capable of implementing the development plans as aspired.
