Total brings together its worldwide employees in Qatar

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha is hosting a cohort of over eighty new employees from Total's affiliates worldwide, to participate in 'Total Integration Days' (TID).

The three-day, commenced on November 10, 2014, is a platform for participants to understand all aspects of Total through participative and interactive sequences.

Total Integration Days event is a seminar that promotes diversity as employees from 18 different nationalities and seven different affiliates come together to understand the global oil and economic environment and share Total's values and policies, especially related to ethics.

Total Integration Days aims to accelerate integration, promote cultural binding, develop support network and team spirit and encourage working in cross functionality. Total Integration Days are organised four times in a year in different affiliates in different regions.

The programme will feature various strategy presentations from technical to non technical topics by Total's executives, followed by business games. Participants will also have the opportunity to discover the culture and traditions of Qatar.

"We are very happy that Qatar, which has a large history in oil and gas business, and which is a melting pot of cultures, was chosen as the destination for this year's Total Integration Days seminar, said Guillaume Chalmin, Managing Director at Total E&P Qatar and Group Representative. "We look forward to welcoming our new colleagues from African and Middle East Total's affiliates. We hope they will enjoy this great experience and feel better integrated into the company. Successfully integrating our new recruits is key to build a strong team spirit and strengthen diversity," Guillaume added.

Total has had a continuous presence in Qatar for close to 80 years, and is the only international oil company active in all branches of Qatar's oil and gas sector. This includes exploration and production, refining and petrochemicals, and the marketing of lubricants.
