Kuwait- MoI denies reports of warning by officer


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY Nov 1 (KUNA): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) Saturday denied social media reports that a police officer warned against children claiming they were lost thus stealing for example people who attempted to help them. These reports are 'completely false and groundless' the MoI's Security Media Department said in a statement. It said no MoI officer has made such warning and the ministry has nothing to do with the reported warning. It urged social media users to verify these reports before spreading them thus causing chaos.

KUWAIT CITY: An unknown person forced entry to the house of a young woman in Omariya and attempted to rob her reports Al-Rai daily. The woman said she was petrified when she saw a stranger in her bedroom and shouted for help and the suspect ran away. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit.
