S. Korea's President Meets Japan's PM

(MENAFN- QNA) South Korea's President Park Geun-hye met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on the sidelines of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Beijing.

The presidential office said Tuesday that Park and Abe exchanged views on various issues.

In particular, the top office said the two leaders agreed to make efforts for bilateral director-level talks on Japan's wartime sex slavery issue to progress smoothly.

The last time Park met Abe was in March in The Hague when she attended the Nuclear Security Summit and held three-way talks with Abe and US President Barack Obama.
