Austrian President to visit Rome
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Austrian President Heinz Fischer will start a three-day visit Italy tomorrow, Tuesday, to discuss bilateral, European and Middle Eastern issues.
He will be received by his Italian counterpart Giorgio Napolitano with military honours. In the afternoon, he is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Matteo Renzi. On Wednesday, Fischer will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Rome and then he will deliver a speech to the Italian-Austrian business forum. On Thursday, Fischer will meet with Pope Francis for private talks; he is also due to speak with the Vatican secretary of state Pietro Parolin.
