Memoirs of a Very UN Politically Correct PC

Bexleyheath Kent. November 10 2014. – Phillip Green has just debuted his first book Memoirs of a Very UN Politically Correct PC which chronicles his life as a police officer.

“I wanted to create a book that discussed the real day to day events that police officers go through. Having worked in the industry for nearly 30 years I’ve seen the good bad and ugly. Readers will get inside access to what goes on behind closed doors. At the end of the day we’re all human beings. We make mistakes like anyone else but there are those shining moments when we’re considered heroes. Several stories in the book will shock readers but every story is absolutely true” Green author.

The book details the stories experienced by a former Metropolitan police officer who served during a time when political correctness was not commonplace. Green recounts stories mostly humorous stories in a very authentic way. Readers will understand what policing is like from the officer’s perspective.

In one of his stories Green recalls a time when he first began his career. He and a colleague were sent to a crime scene where it was believed that the body of a young child was found. Green was looking for his big break an opportunity to work in the murder squad. He and his partner were careful not to alter the evidence ensuring that everything was securely kept in place. Shortly afterwards they learned that the body was of a dead fox and was a prank pulled by a colleague who was being transferred. This story is just one of many of the hilarious stories shared by Green.

“I’ve witnessed and experienced some jaw-dropping incidents. Unfortunately most of the time crimes aren’t solved within an hour. This book details the reality of the police force this isn’t a crime show you watch on your television. The stories are real the people are real and everything about this book is real. I’ve experienced most of the stories in this book from first hand experience. Colleagues who shared their experiences with me told similar stories. Looking at the world from the eyes of an officer can really change a person’s perspective on things” Green.
