(MENAFN- QNA) Arab League Secretary-General Dr. Nabil el Araby welcomed Sunday the formation of a new Yemeni government, describing it as a positive step to resolving the crisis in Yemen.
El Araby released a statement today praising Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi, Prime Minister Khalid Mahfouz and Yemeni political factions that cooperated to form the new government.
El Araby expressed his hope that the new government can overcome the challenges ahead of it in political, security, economic and humanitarian field. He renewed the Arab League's support to the Yemeni government and people and called on the international community to support Yemen as well.
