(MENAFN- QNA) 17 militants were killed in an operation carried on Sunday by Pakistani security forces in the country's Northwest.
Pakistani sources said the fighting took place in Pakistan's Khyber tribal region, and the security forces killed 17 militants. Security forces are still combing the area, the sources added.
6 militants were killed while ten others were injured in an operation carried by Pakistani security forces yesterday in the same region.
The Pakistani forces launched in mid October a military operation against Taliban-related militants in Khyber tribal region.
