- HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohamed Al Attiyah held, via telephone, separate conversations with Foreign Ministers of Tunisia Mongi Hamdi, Algeria Ramtane Lamamra, Sudan Ali Karti, Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu and US John Kerry.
- The Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) aimed at improving working conditions for migrant workers in Qatar.
- Under the patronage of HE Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Museums Authority Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari launched exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Shirin Neshat, which will run from 8 November 2014 15 February 2015.
- The State of Qatar expressed deep concern over Israel's continued policy of intimidation and imposition of collective punishment on the residents of the Gaza Strip through the repeated aggression and the siege imposed on the Strip for more than six years, referring to the latest Israeli aggression against Gaza in last August.

- The Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) celebrated the graduation of the third batch of the national search and rescue team, which oversees the training of the National Academy of specialist training.
- Secretary-General of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Maryam bint Abdullah Al Attiyah met students from the Qatar University's Faculty of Law in the presence of Dr. Asma Al Attiyah, Head of the Department of Psychological Sciences at Qatar University, and a member of the Committee.
- Chairman of the National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) Dr. Ali bin Smaikh Al Marri conferred with a delegation from the National Human Rights Committee of Oman (ONHRC) headed by Saud bin Ali bin Abdullah Al Jabri, a member of the Committee, and attended by ONHRC Secretary General Dr. Ubaid bin Said Al Shaqsy.
