Vestas raises annual outlook on strong performance in Q3


(MENAFN) Vestas, Danish wind-turbine manufacturer, left up is annual outlook on strong operational performance and high activity levels posted in the third-quarter period, Xinhua reported.

Revenue for the July-September period rose to USD2.246 billion, up 26 percent from USD1.79 billion registered in the same period of last year, Vestas said in a financial statement.

Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) amounted to USD202.98 million in the cited quarter, as compared to USD83.43 million registered in the same period last year.

"The third quarter of 2014 continued the trend with improvements in several operational areas and thus highlights that execution remains on track for our strategy," said Vestas.
