Saudi- IIROSA signs job training agreement


(MENAFN- Arab News) The International Islamic Relief Organization-Saudi Arabia (IIROSA) an affiliate of the Muslim World League recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Top Master Company Ltd. at IIROSA's headquarters in Jeddah.

'The MoU was signed with a view to provide job and career training for girls and boys of families registered with IIROSA' said Ehssan Saleh Taieb secretary-general of IIROSA.

Tarek M. Hilal chairman of Top Master Company said: 'I consider it a great opportunity to cooperate with the organization. Our partnership with IIROSA has opened doors for collaboration in order to create opportunities for today's youth and to give them the right skills for a quality job.'

He added that youth often get hired without having the necessary training for the job which affects productivity. 'Therefore we have coordinated with IIROSA to train a large number of boys and girls to help them benefit from the programs as they search for a good job.

'By providing skills support training and facilitating career development we look forward to ultimately helping people live better lives' he added.

In another development IIROSA signed an MoU with Bakr bin Hamza Khoshaim chairman of the Board of Asdiqa Community Association to exchange experiences and to coordinate several projects and programs with a common strategic goal for the provision of relief and humanitarian assistance to the poor.

Ehsaan Taieb said that these MOUs reflect the objectives of the IIROSA's strategic plan that aims at establishing partnerships to help the poor and the needy. 'Such training programs play a crucial role in accomplishing sustainable development and they are also important for IIROSA as they open the way to deliver more programs that add to its achievements. Moreover training programs also help in fighting poverty and unemployment' he added.

Taieb also briefed the officials on the structure of the organization and its humanitarian and charity achievements as well as presenting a video of IIROSA's work and efforts in combating poverty empowering local communities and offering vocational training.

Sadia Al-Wafi head of IIROSA women's section said: 'These MoUs are implemented to promote increased coordination and exchange of experiences between different organizations as well as to achieve one of IIROSA's objectives to establish local and international partnerships.'
