UAE's Q Group, Dry Docks World sign deal


(MENAFN) Dubai-based Q Group, which is developing the Great Britain Island on The World project, announced signing an agreement with Drydocks World for the providing of offshore marine and operational management solutions for the development, Gulf Business reported.

Under the agreement, Drydocks World will provide technical and operational support to the development of the island's five-star resort and residential destination, as well as designing, engineering and building marine-based solutions for the development.

Q Group also said that they are planning to have a luxury resort, private and water villas, hotel serviced apartments, an event and wedding venue, offshore restaurants and bars, and water-based experiences on the island

The Great Britain Island is going to be part of The World project, developed by Nakheel, which will be located off the coast of Dubai, comprises of 300 man-made islands, and adds over 232 kilometers of new beachfront to Dubai's coastline.
