The SmartWoman app is exclusive to Ooredoo customers with a two month free-trial period and enables women to access rich dynamic content by expert writers in Arabic and English network with other subscribers ask questions and share their own experiences on a wide range of topics.

SmartWoman also offers a new model of sponsoring women in rural areas helping them to make a better life for themselves and their families as well as the opportunity to pledge support to a number of women's organisations and NGOs.
The app features contributions provided by Knowledge Oman from local female ambassadors and experts and is part of a global initiative for gender equality and entrepreneurship supported by Qualcomm Wireless Reach. It is part of the overall SmartWoman project supported by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the United Nations entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women.
