Abbott will 'Discuss' With Putin MH17 Plane Crash

(MENAFN- QNA) Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott will soon discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin the incident of MH17 plane crash in Ukraine in the coming week.

Speaking to reporters Thursday, Abbott said, "I will be having conversation with Putin at the earliest possible moment." The Australian Premier said Russia as a member of the international community owes it to the world, owes it to humanity to assist in the crash investigation and ensure justice is done.

He told reporters he could speak with Putin "one way or another" over the next week, either at the Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation (APEC) summit in Beijing or at the G20 gathering in Australia's Brisbane.

The Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777, travelling from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed in Ukraine's eastern Donetsk region on July 17, killing all 298 people on-board, including 27 Australians.
