Qatar Airways receives three new aircraft


(MENAFN) Qatar Airways announced it has expanded its fleet with the arrival of three new aircrafts: two Boeing 787 Dreamliners and one Boeing 777, which represented the biggest delivery in one day for the airline, QNA reported.

With these deliveries, Qatar Airlines increased its fleet to reach 139 passenger and cargo aircrafts, with the airline now owning 17 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, and 37 Boeing 777s, made up of a combination of 777-300ERs and 777-200LRs, among its fleet.

"We are very happy to receive three more of our most popular aircraft from Boeing all on the same day reinforcing the fact that this is the 'year of the fleet. The addition of the two 787s and one 777 ensures that we are able to continue with our commitment to offer our passengers the most comfortable experience in the sky when travelling with us." QA Group Chief Executive said.
