Germany's exports to Iran surge 32.7 percent

(MENAFN) Data by the Statistics Office showed that Germany's exports to Iran have surged by 32.7 percent to USD2.0 billion in the January-August period, Iran Daily reported.

Compared to a year earlier, exports dipped by 26 percent, while in the two previous years in declined by more than 18 percent, the statistics office data showed.

"These relatively small steps have been like a lever starting a bigger movement. The German economy especially could profit from a relaxation," an analyst at the BGA exporters' and wholesalers' association said.
