Remains of Last Missing Victim of Costa Concordia Shipwreck Found

(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  The remains of Russel Rebello, the last missing victim of the Costa Concordia shipwreck, have been found during dismantling operations, reports said Monday.
Thirty-two of the 4,229 people who were on board died in the January 13, 2012 accident, dpa reported.
Separately, a diver died while inspecting the Concordia in February, when it was still laying half-capsized near Giglio, the Italian island where it ran aground.
The ANSA news agency said that Rebello's remains were found inside a cabin, hidden by furniture. India-born Rebello worked on the Concordia as a waiter.
The cruise ship is currently being dismantled in the port of Genoa in north-west Italy. It was towed there in July, at the end of complicated operations to remove the wreck from Giglio's shore.
