Saudi Health ministry announces two new cases of coronavirus


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Saudi Arabia Health Ministry announced Monday the recording two new cases of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) known as coronavirus, in the past 24 hours.

The ministry said in a statement on its website that two patients, Saudi nationals, suffered from other diseases.

Since 2012, the number of detected cases, including the two cases today, of the Coronavirus has reached 791 cases, among them 333 fatalities.

In the past, the Saudi ministry took a number of measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, including establishing three specialized centers, one in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al-Dammam in addition to a command and control center to monitor all diseases.
