S. Korean automakers' sales dip 2.25 percent in October

(MENAFN) Industrial data by the South Korean government showed that car sales of five of the country's automakers have dipped in October from a year ago, Yonhap News reported.

The combined sales of local South Korean car manufacturers reached 748,025 vehicles last month, logging a loss of 2.25 percent from 765,255 vehicles sold a in the same period year earlier.

The total excludes complete knockdown kits shipped abroad for assembly. The data attributed the decline to a generally weak domestic demand and labor disputes that disrupted supplies of exports.
