Tractor Sales in Pakistan Jump 852 in Q1


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Karachi November 02 (QNA) - Pakistan government's support to agriculture has propelled tractor sales 85% in the first quarter of current fiscal year rising to 9363 units from 5059 units in same period last year.

Sales of Massey Ferguson and Fiat tractors rose to 6086 and 3184 units from 3281 and 1714 units while sales of Orient IMT tractor went up to 93 from 64 units according to data released by Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (Pama).

Overall production of farm machinery has almost doubled in July-September 2014-15 to 11896 units as compared to 6419 units in same period last fiscal year. (QNA)
