UAE- Emirati sweeps inventor awards in Germany


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Ahmad Abdullah Majan won the gold medal for his invention on a device for tracking pet animals run by solar power.

Emirati inventor Ahmad Abdullah Majan representative of Emirati youth achieved victory when he crushed inventors from across 30 countries participating in the annual world inventors challenge — the 66th edition of the International Trade Fair Ideas Inventions and New Products (IENA2014) in Nuremberg Germany which opened on Thursday with the participation of more than 700 exhibitors from 30 countries.



Majan claimed four medals; one gold two silvers and one bronze.



He won the gold medal for his invention on a device for tracking pet animals. The device is run by solar power. He won two silver medals for his invention of a smart cage hunt device and a smart duck hunt device.



While an invention on preventing the catch cage from theft which is locally called ‘ Jarajeer’ has bagged the bronze medal.



By this victory the medals claimed by Majan have hit 11 medals.
