Al Aqsa Mosque Reopened ahead of Friday Prayers


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Occupied Jerusalem October 31 (QNA) - Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Aqsa mosque compound on Friday ahead of Friday prayers after a closure following clashes sparked by the killing of a Palestinian by the Israeli Occupation Forces.



The streets of east Jerusalem were calm ahead of the prayers according to media reports.

Clashes erupted when Israeli police on Wednesday night shot dead a Palestinian.

The closure which was the first for decades was described by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas as an Israeli "declaration of war". (QNA)
