Eight-Year-Old French Ice Hockey Fan Killed by Flying Puck


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  An eight-year-old boy attending an ice hockey game in the northern French town of Dunkirk Saturday night was killed after being hit in the stands by a flying puck, the host team announced.
The puck flew off the ice during a game between Dunkirk and Reims, striking the boy behind the ear. The young hockey player, who was a member of the Dunkirk club, suffered a heart attack, dpa reported.
He was rushed to hospital, where his death Sunday was announced by the team.
