Qatar- Kulluna recognises media supporters

(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Kulluna, the national health and safety awareness campaign, recognised its media supporters for contributing to success.

As a community partner, ConocoPhillips became the founding sponsor of the Kulluna Health and Safety campaign. In partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Hamad International Training Centre (HITC), Kulluna has become one of the largest community investments by ConocoPhillips in Qatar.

Dr Khalid Abdulnoor Saifeldeen, Chairman, Kulluna, and ConocoPhillips representatives attended the event, along with journalists, ConocoPhillips staff, HMC officials, media and corporate communication teams 60 degrees and Agency 222 who help spread the Kulluna message.

Dr Saifeldeen opened the event and said, "Two years ago today, we launched Kulluna to spread awareness and improve health and wellness in Qatar. It makes me proud to see how Kulluna has grown, and it could not have been possible without the support of every member of the Kulluna family.

ConocoPhillips Qatar President, Gary Sykes, said, "As founding sponsor, we are proud to celebrate the milestone with the media. They are an invaluable part of the Kulluna family and contribute to the campaign's success, helping equip the community with the knowledge to be healthy and safe. Our core values of health and safety are aligned with those of HMC and HITC, and we are committed to supporting the initiative."

Kulluna continues to launch nationwide health and safety campaigns through community activities, including home and water safety, school visits, healthy heart awareness, staying healthy in the summer heat and during Ramadan fasting and sponsors safety events.
