(MENAFN- Alghad Newspaper) A total of 72 Syrian refugees, mainly children, women and elderly people crossed into the Kingdom yesterday, according to an official source at the Jordan Armed Forces.
The source said that border guard units operating along the Jordanian-Syrian borders received the refugees and evacuated them to an area prepared by the armed forces for this purpose.
"The armed forces provided aid to the displaced Syrians and transferred them to the refugee camps," the sources added.
