Kuwait- KEPS calls on public to be part of environment campaign next week


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Protection Environment Society (KEPS) has called on all citizens and residents to participate in cleaning Kuwaiti shores next week in a campaign named "operation sea turtle." The event is co-organized with the Japanese society to increase environmental awareness and voluntary activities among members of the society.

KEPS General Secretary Wajdan Al-Oqab told KUNA, on Saturday, that more than 200 people are expected to participate in cleaning the beaches next Saturday, November 8.

Last year, around 350 people volunteered to engage in a similar event.
