The high committee of GCC Power 2014 has announced the completion of all preparations for the conference which will be hosted by Bahrain at the Gulf Hotel from November 10 to 12, under the patronage of the Minister of State for Electricity and Water Affairs. The event is organized by the GCC Regional Committee for Electric Systems (GCC CIGRE).
The conference aims at giving participants the opportunity to learn more about the latest developments in the electricity and energy industry, in addition to encouraging collaboration between international commissions, enhancing scientific research efforts among GCC power authorities. Delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the latest trends and strategies to meet the region's rapidly expanding energy needs through a series of panel and technical sessions.

The technical committee of GCC CIGRE has chosen best 60 presentations out of 120 scientific papers from 20 countries to be discussed during the three-day event, taking into consideration variation and focusing on vital subjects that tackles the power sector ongoing and future matters in the gulf region, and how to sustain the growth of this significant sector through coming up with fruitful recommendations.
Attendees will have the chance to witness the 19th exhibition for electrical equipment which will be held during the three-day GCC Power 2014, gathering more than 45 exhibitors, showcasing the latest technologies and power solutions around the globe.
