Qatar Stocks Continue Green Run up 252.21 Points


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Doha October 22 (QNA) - Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) continued its gains made on Tuesday with the index adding 252.21 points (+1.93%) Wednesday to advance to 13328.62 points at close on Wednesday.

The traded valued jumped to QR 770.520 Million from QR 415.088 Million registered Tuesday.



The traded volume more than double to 16579674 shares from 7555 transactions compared to 8247913 shares from 4966 transactions.

The market value reached QR 719.653 Billion from Tuesday's QR 707.358 Billion.

All indices ended in the green zone today with real estate index up 2.35% to 2611.59 points boosting the traded value of the bourse.



Industries index gained 2.19% when it advanced to 4440.29 points. Banks and financial services gained 2.06% when it closed at 3348.22 points.

From the 43 listed companies shares of 40 exchanged hands today. From these 31 made gains eight went down and one remained unchanged.

Qatar National Bank (QNB) share gained QR 4 (+1.98%) when it closed at QR 206 while Qatar Islamic Bank share gained QR3.50 (+3.20%) when it closed at 112.80.



National Leasing Holding Company (NLCS) share jumped QR 1.80 (+7%) when it closed at QR 25.70.

From the real estate sector Mazaya Real Estate Development Company (Qatar) share closed higher by QR 1.10 (+5.13%) at QR 22.55. (QNA)
